North Star Security collects only the information needed to respond to inquiries, manage the Career Lab interest list, deliver resources, protect the site, and understand aggregate usage. We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect

- Information related to a requested resource, Career Lab update, or interest-list signup
Hosting, security, analytics, and form providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, request logs, and pages visited.

Site analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views and selected interactions such as download clicks, interest-form clicks, and Lab 001 starts. Selected interactions are represented by controlled virtual paths.
Before analytics events are sent, North Star strips URL query parameters and fragments. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, form responses, learner records, or custom event properties as analytics data. Vercel describes Web Analytics data points as anonymous and cookie-free. This site also respects the browser’s Do Not Track signal.
Third-party services
The site may use providers for hosting, DNS/security, analytics, email, and forms, including Cloudflare, Vercel, Tally, optional Google Sheets if connected for response storage, and email services. These providers process information under their own policies.
No sale of personal information
North Star Security does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the site or when required for law, security, or business operations.
Email and interest-list updates
If you request updates or a resource, we may send relevant information about North Star Security, the Career Lab, free resources, mini-range planning, or learner support. You can ask to be removed from future outreach at any time.
Data retention
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, business records, security, or legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards and reputable service providers, but no website or email workflow can guarantee perfect security.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information if you are under 13.
